Day One: 9 June 2015 - Time for change



So even though I have been busy getting a lot of things done. The one thing I tend to spend very little time on is me! I mean good quality time, no time for mindfulness and healthy habits when you're raising a child on your own, studying a double degree more than full-time and topping it all off with work and placements.Oh, and my poor house.. totally a reflection of my head space. Scattered pieces here and there, everything lest until it is urgent and very much in a reactive state than a positive proactive one :/

 I had been trying to focus on starting one good habit every two weeks (or trying to break a bad one). However that all changed when my dearest brother announced his engagement. Now I feel like I need to get a move on, sort myself out, lose the weight, get back to being awesome in a much faster time period.

So while this post is just going up, it is really about yesterday. Yesterday I got up, went for a rather brisk 90 minute walk, worked for another couple of hours (swim teaching so still active) and ate well.. Surprise surprise I slept well too. It would be lovely to think okay, great day, now I will just keep up those habits until the wedding and I shall look tip top, feel amazing and totally pull off the "I'm so together" person I wish I was.

It means it is time for change and it has given me the inspiration to move forward - and a scary deadline too (although the date for wedding is not yet set!)

Ack so much to do, so much time.. too much time.. I am a wonderful procrastinator!!!!!!
